    At Four Winds Learning Community, we prioritize health and safety above all. Below you will find our policy and procedures for following state and local guidelines regarding COVID-19 and the well-being of our community.
    1.     Masks must be worn properly (covering mouth and nose) at all times by both staff, students and families on site. Masks may be removed for eating, only when everyone is seated with at least six feet of distance between them and proper hand-washing has been done. The CDC recommends wearing a mask with at least two layers of material in order to be effective. We remind the children to take regular masks breaks and allow them to whenever they feel it necessary.
    2.     If a student or anyone in their family/household is showing leading symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that they stay home until they can show proof of a negative test result or have quarantined for two weeks.  Leading symptoms include fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste and/or smell, cough and sore throat.
    3.     If a student or anyone in their family/household has come into contact with anyone who has tested positive for the virus, we ask that they provide a negative test or quarantine for two weeks, before their return to Four Winds.
    4.     If anyone in our community (teachers and students) tests positive, we will end operations until further notice.
    5.     If you travel to a restricted state, we ask that you provide a negative test result or quarantine for two weeks after travel before returning to Four Winds.
