Our Program
Our year is tied to the cycle of the seasons. We celebrate the seasonal changes and focus our activities and classes around those changes. Our program takes place outside, on a working organic farm, all year long. Our emergent curriculum comes from the natural cycles and the farming year. We have an inside classroom space for inclement weather, this is a greenhouse converted to use for educational purposes. The sides can roll up to provide ventilation and yet still provide rain cover.
Our Summer Program runs for 6 weeks during the summer months. Each week is a stand alone week of fun, games, nature play, theater games and natural crafts.
Our Homeschool Program: Each semester our teachers generate ideas with the students and offer courses that the children are interested in as well as providing a broad base of the basics: reading, writing, arithmetic, history, social skills and more.
Our Preschool Program: Offers families a chance to explore nature and create connections.
New this fall: After-school Program (Tues-Thurs 3:30-5pm) and Saturday Adventures (10-3pm).

During these challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic we, at Four Winds, have chosen to continue to offer an in-person enrichment program to assist home-schoolers as well as those students doing remote learning, while maintaining our safety. We hold the majority of our classes outdoors, with some shelter from the weather in a heated greenhouse space.

Fees
Depending on how many days a week your child participates and also how many siblings are enrolled our daily rates are approximately $55-75 sliding scale per day per child.
Preschool Mornings are $18-22 sliding scale per parent/child session (multiple sibling discount are available)
