Children are built to play. They play in physical ways, with language and logic, by building things, by relating to one another and the natural world. We have witnessed that it is through play that kids learn how to live in this world.
As mentors, our role is to provoke curiosity, and to assist each individual in their learning exploration. We create a loose structure, which allows them the freedom to explore their world and discover what they want, when they are ready. We discover the curriculum as it emerges from our explorations of nature and the imagination of each child. We are honored to accompany them on this beautiful journey. |

Four Winds: the points on a compass, a tool for navigation, the possibility to go in any direction, the sacred way of the four directions, a method of orienting ourselves in the world.
